We will pick you up in the morning from your hotel for a visit to Zay Cho, the biggest market in Mandalay. After the market, start exploring the key attractions of Myanmar's second largest city from the Mahamuni Pagoda, home to a famed, gold covered Buddha image.
There will be a chance to learn how local artisan craft kalaga tapestries, beating gold leaf into paper-thin pieces as your city tour continues. Lunch will be at your own.
Afternoon sightseeing will bring you to Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the Buddhist World's biggest book, home to 729 marble slabs depicting Buddhism theory. Our guide will then introduce you the teak-carved Shwenandaw Monastery then the only Royal Palace building to survive World War II bombing. Sunset by Mandalay Hill before transfering back to your hotel.
