Myanmar Discovery commences in Yangon where you are captivated by the most revered Buddhist temple, the Shwedagon pagoda then take you northward to explore the tranquil Inle Lake. As you feel more closed to the country by capturing the image of Intha village and unique fishing sights, you will head to Bagan to behold the mind-blowing scene of its some 2000 temples.

Itinerary

The charming city of Yangon welcomes you with wide boulevards, beautiful lakes and glittering pagodas. As you arrive at Yangon international airport, our guide and driver will welcome you for the hotel transfer. 
The rest of the day is left free for your own discovery. 
We highlight your dinner with a cultural show by the ancient palace of Karaweik.

Embarking a short flight to Heho this morning. The picturesque drive from Heho to Inle Lake is interrupted with a nice visit to the so-called market which draws many local hill tribe villages. Upon arrival, be ready for relaxing, pleasant boat navigation through floating gardens, styled tradition workshops of chery root cigar, silk and black smith, beholding the unique one leg rowing demonstration. A stop at Nam Khon village gives you a chance to see how Intha people make silk from lotus and other fabric before you stay at leisure in your lake side resort.

Wake up with a fantastic view through your window, witnessing fishermen passing by your resort to their farm. Spend the day to travel further into the land of Pa O hill tribe, mingle with them for their fascinating rotating market. There is no surprise if you are enchanted by quaint farm produce, lake catch or carpentries; they are all photogenic at this lively fair.
Before we take the flight to Mandalay, make a visit to  a school I Nyang Shwe town or taste the famous Shan state in a typical regional restaurant.

The first attraction today is the Golden Palace Monastery, home to the sophisticated teak carvings. You will then gaze at Kuthodaw pagoda and discover why it is known as the world's largest book. While Mahanuni pagoda demonstrates the unique architecture, the Mandalay Palace exposes the rich history of the story in the most vivid way.
Afternoon tour includes a boat trip to Mingun, learning about the world biggest cracking bell and story of the incomplete Pahtodawgyi pagoda as well Mya Theindan pagoda.

Mandalay is surrounded by three ancient capitals, each boasts distinctive character which will be unearthed during your tour today. 
Depart from your hotel to Sagaing, a beautiful rolling hill with many Buddhist temple scattering from hill top till river bank. There are chances to spot the monks in their saffron robes and explore awe spiring Buddha cave in few steps walk. From here, we cross Ava bridge again and reach the picturesque lake of Tamanthaung. Spend your afternoon to explore the key sites including the biggest Monastery in Mandalay and the longest teak bridge in the world, the Ubein.
Proceed to the airport for the flight to Bagan

The introductory tour in Bagan takes you in 46 meter high Htilominlo pagoda, Mingalazedi pagoda, astounding brickwork of the Dhammayangyi pagoda, the icon pagoda of Ananda and some off beaten track sites as well. 
Bagan is embedded with endless photography opportunities and one of them should be the sundowner shooting which allows you to capture the panoramic of the area and temple spires.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic journey to Mountain Popa. This sacred pagoda treasures many Buddhism secret to Burma’s history and features the most famous pilgrimage site in the area. 
As the car approach Popa national park, you will climb up the steps to behold the great views atop Taung Kalat temple. 
Upon your return to Bagan, our guide will take you to Salay, home to the Yoke-Sone-Kyaung, a World Heritage Site. 
Taking the flight back to Yangon.

Your city tour today reveals the highlighted must-sees of Yangon as well offering some intimate touch to the local life. Starting by a guided walk from Sule pagoda, the 2500 year old monument in the heart of Yangon to  Botataung pagoda by the river side, you will pass through open street markets, busy shops in China town and numerous prominent British colonial building that reflects the charm of the old days. 
Continue your trip with a styled trishaw ride via the less visited side of Yangon downtown and take a break to taste the Burmese tea like a local.
Completing your day by Shwedagon, a giant Buddhist site boasting a mix of architectural brilliance and sacred ambience.

The day is left free for your leisure and of course, if your flight is late in the afternoon, we will craft a visit to some less-known site in Yangon.
