Welcome to the northern hub of Myanmar !
Mandalay is a vibrant city which features the rendezvous for regional ethnic minorities and Chinese. It used to be the last Capital of the mighty Burma Kingdom. Hence, the city isn't lack of beautiful travel sites to offer.
After having the transfer from the airport, kick off your Myanmar Tour by exploring the famous Shwe Nandaw Kyaung or known as Golden Palace Monastery - well recognized for its intricate wood carving. After that, we’ll behold the World’s largest book at Kuthodaw pagoda. The remainder of the day is left for your personal leisure.

The day has a beguiling combination of road trip and river boating. In the morning, we will drive to Sagaing, the Buddhist center of Myanmar where Buddhism university is located along with sacred pagodas overlooking the Irrawaddy River.
Afternoon is spent for a river journey to Mingun, home to the World’s biggest ringing bell. This area also contains the unique Incomplete Mingun pagoda and Hsinbyume - a white washed temple built to resemble Mount Meru.
Our guide will be available if you wish to enjoy Mandalay night market.

After breakfast, we depart from Mandalay to Mogok Valley. The journey introduces you the picturesque landscapes of Shan State filled by rolling hills, lush local plantation, dense forest and secluded villages.
After 5 hours driving, we stop to visit the famous Gems market at Kyat Pin.
We then head to Dan Nan Kyi Hill for stunning local panorama.

Kick Off the day with a light trek from Mogok Valley to Lisu village. The destination encompasses rice paddies, a hidden waterfall and a fascinating Monastery which boasts Indian inspired architect.
Return to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, our guide will take you to one of the biggest Rubby mine in the area then continue your ruby tour to Pan Chan Htar Pwe market. The market is very unique as it has no stall, all rubies are displayed on the ground. Buyers are free to to negotiate.
The visit also includes a stop by a gem painting workshop.
Conclude your sightseeing day at Mogok Viewing Point.

Rise up to follow the local people to Aung Chanthar. Free to photograph the ethnic minorities in their traditional customs. From Mogok, drive though the winding road of Shan State to reach Pyin Oo Lwin.
We will take time to rest before exploring the charm of Pyin Oo Lwin this afternoon.

Today, we depart from Pyin Oo Lwin to Shan State tourism hub : Inle Lake. En route, we stop to visit Ngwe Nan Taw winery where damson wine is distilled. 
Our drive has some nice stops to visit local villages on the way until we join the highway to Nyang Shwe.
Upon arrival, settle your night at the hotel.

Your Inle Lake itinerary commences with a boat ride to Phang Daw Oo, known as the most sacred pagoda in the area.
The next stop is Nga Hpe Kyaung Monastery. For curious eyes of visitors, it is more called Jumping Cat Monastery as they do train cats here ! . This pagoda has 180 year history. 
Another place that you should not miss is Inpawkhone village which boasts Silk Weaving workshops. On the way, there are chances to see black smith house. 
Enjoy the boat until sunset then return to your hotel.

Our destination this morning is Indein Market. This market rotates its location every 5 days in the week and brings many ethnic minorities from different villages to come in the morning.
To visit the market, we rise up early to capture its busiest moments where Pa O, Padaung, Intha and other hill tribes gathers.  
For foodie adventurers, Indein offers plenty of mouthwashing dishes like fresh tofu salad, Shan noodle, etc...
Wind through the canal network to explore further the stilt villages in Inle in the less-visited part. Return to your resort for leisure lately this afternoon.

The long road trip today ( about 6 hours ) is rewarded by the extraordinary scenery of Shan State. 
If time permits, we will visit Mount. Popa, a beautiful national park lies on an inactive volcano. Its hilltop monastery is very famous as one of the best pilgrimage sites in Myanmar. 
Once reaching Bagan, check in your hotel and relax by the pool.

Your Bagan itinerary starts from Shwewigon, the area's most important reliquary shrine - look out for images of the 37 'nats' (spirits) housed in a small hall. Next, you will explore " Cave temple" - the Kyansittha then Gubyaukgyi in Wetkyi Inn village. 
After water, journey to Htilominlo, the last Bamar-style monument exposing fascinating mural art. Another outstanding pagoda is Ananda, famous for its Mon architect housing four standing Buddhas.
What you will not miss today also include Thatbyinnyu - the tallest temple with the spire rising up to  61 metres
Afternoon time is spent to get face to face with the big temple dated back to 1170 AD, the Dhammayangyi then Mingalazedi, the last of the large pagodas built in the 13th Century.

A journey either by boat ( arriving late in Mandalay ) or by car along Irrawaddy River ( 4 hours ) from Bagan to Mandalay will be arranged.

Departure flight from Yangon :
A flight from Bagan to Yangon will be reserved. Our local tour guide in Yangon then will welcome you for a short visit before you leave our country.
