Diving/ Snorkelling

With its own PADI Dive Center operated by an experienced team of instructors and dive masters, Myanmar Andaman Resort offers a convenient and comfortable way to dive the Mergui Archipelago. These waters, completely isolated until 1997, have one of the best preserved reef systems in the region. We offer dive packages and PADI dive courses. For non-divers we offer half-day and full-day snorkeling trips around the island.

Sea Kayaking

Our sea kayaks are a great way to explore Macleod Island and its surrounding beaches. Tours are available upon request provided by our well trained guide who can show you the most interesting places along the island’s shore. You can visit mysterious caves and explore our coastal mangrove forest.
There is no better way to get experience Mergui’s culture than to explore the Sea Gypsy villages and trading points. At Myanmar Andaman Resort we organize cultural tours that will let you see how the Gypsies live and fish.

Jungle Trek

Macleod has an unspoiled environment and jungle with many tropical plants and bird life. A hike to Macleod’s highest peak offers some of the most amazing views. You can choose to explore the hills yourself or hire a guide. Many bird species breed on the island, making it a real bird sanctuary.

Guests will be treated by trained Thai professional masseuse. We are pleased to offer traditional Thai, Oil and traditional Myanmar Thaneka massage plus many other treatments that will keep you relaxed
