This morning, depart from Yangon for a trip to Kyaikhtiyo.
En route, we will explore the local market of Thanatpin then capture the Mon village arises amongst the green rice fields as we take a longtail boat. After lunch, we head to Kin Pun base camp to change our mode of transfer to an open truck.
After 11km, we will arrive at Kyaikhtiyo pagoda. The Golden Rock is known as the most sacred Buddhism site which attracts millions of pilgrimage every year. The pagoda is famed for a giant rock seat balanced precariously on the edge of a cliff.

Early riser can behold a beautiful sunrise from the top of Golden Rock this morning. After breakfast, we head back to Bago, one of the richest archeological sites in Burma. Your orientation discovery of Bago commences with the 55m reclining Buddha Shwe Tha Lyaung then Shwemawdaw pagoda. After lunch, we will see how local artisan produce silk in a typical Mon weaving village. Transfer to your hotel for your personal leisure.

Today, we cross Yangon river, following the historic journey undertaken by a 37-year old Sayagyi U Ba Khin and head across Rangoon River, then proceed a further 8 miles south to the home village of Saya Thet Gyi. We will see the original tazaung where he first taught meditation and then go to Anauk Monastery where he later moved to, among other village sites connected to his life.
We depart early from Yangon for a short flight to Mandalay.
Our program in Mandalay includes Dhamma Mandapa, a downtown Vipassana center then Maha Bodhi Meditation Center, in the Saya Thet Gyi tradition.
Other remarkable sightseeing also takes you to the grand Maha Myat Muni Pagoda, where Goenkaji got his first taste of the Dhamma; and Shwegyin Monastery, the oldest and most important monastic site of the former royal capital. "

After breakfast at your hotel, taking a car drive to Dhamma Mandala, which is located in the countryside here in "Waterfall Mountain". This Vipassana center is home to some special monasteries.

Today, we travel from Mandalay toward the lower part of Irrawaddy River. After lunch, start your visit at Mohnyin Monastery, one of the first "meditation monasteries" of the 20th century, founded and taught by Ledi Sayadaw's most important monastic disciple. We also spend tie to admire the magnificent Bodhi Ta Htaung Monastery, which similarly began as a meditation site and today has some of the largest Buddha images of the world.

Monywa is one of the most famous sites for any Myanmar Pilgrimage Tour. It is home to many sacred monasteries and Buddha relics. The first stop for this day is the Ledi Sayadaw Forest Monastery, which was built in 1887.

The destination of this morning is Sain Pyin Village where Ledi Sayadaw was born. After that, we travel onward to Ingyinbin to participate the mediation at Webu Monastery. The advantage of this day is the meeting with local senior monks.

The tour today brings you to Prekhemma Monastery, one of the oldest structures which boasts the history of almost 1,000 years. Afterward, Htut Kaung Monastery which supports female monastics and Sitagu centers are two important sites you will not miss during the visit in Sagaing.
