Travel Itinerary

from Yangon/ Mandalay
Upon your arrival, we will welcome you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. 
This day, we take time to get aquainted with the weather and prepare our bikes as well meeting your friendly tour guide. The remainder of the day is left for your own leisure.

Your motorcycle tour really kicks off today with a scenic drive along Irrawaddy River. En route, stop for Nan Daw Kyun village or also known as “The Island of Royal Palace” - a beautiful spot to behold the river view.
Before keeping your wheel toward Bagan, embark a boat trip to explore Mingun whhich is famous for the giant ringing bell and unfinished stupas.
The road today is gentle and you are free to make stops with our guide until you reach the plain of Bagan. Settle your stay.

Today, you leave your bike at the hotel and start with a car journey across the archeaological zone of Bagan. The visit starts from Shwewigon, the area's most important reliquary shrine - look out for images of the 37 'nats' (spirits) housed in a small hall. Next, you will explore " Cave temple" - the Kyansittha then Gubyaukgyi in Wetkyi Inn village. 
After water, journey to Htilominlo, the last Bamar-style monument exposing fascinating mural art. Another outstanding pagoda is Ananda, famous for its Mon architect housing four standing Buddhas.
What you will not miss today also include Thatbyinnyu - the tallest temple with the spire rising up to  61 metres
Afternoon time is spent to get face to face with the big temple dated back to 1170 AD, the Dhammayangyi then Mingalazedi, the last of the large pagodas built in the 13th Century.

After breakfast, we escape from the temples of Bagan for a picturesque road that winds along the Shan mountains. You will encounter different friendly villages, exotic markets and dense jungles.
The destination this day - Kalaw is home to numerous British Colonial heritages including maisons, churches and gardens. Upon arrival, settle your stay and enjoy the mild weather after a long day ride.

Be ready for some unpaved road but full of fun as you desend to Inle Lake from Kalaw. There are more chances to see different hill tribes.
The travel is totally out of the tourist trail which means you will experience the authenticity of the locals. 
Upon arrival in Nyang Shwe, visit the biggest monastery in town then explore the area on your own.

Spend full day exploring the best that Inle has to offer: floating garden villages, the Inpawkhone weaving village, famous cigar making workshops, traditional black smith, styled boat making houses.
You will have chance to meet long neck hill tribe, friendly kids from different villages in Inle. Conclude your sightseeing day by watching the unique fishing technique from an Inthar fisherman.

Another day for both ascent and descents for over 165km in Shan Plateau. You will love to have some break by the schools where you feel mostly welcomed.
Upon arrrival, our guide will introduce you further about Sagar the main residence of Pa O hill tribe. Motorcycle off for a walk to see traditional work of ceramic as well local plantations.
Continue your ride to Loikaw and spend the evening here.

We leave the little town of Loikaw and head to Pindaya located in the Southern Shan State. Back to the main highway with so many twists and turns then, travel to the quite roads of remote villages to feel and see the different and unique scenery of Shan Plateau.
When we arrive in Pindaya, continue ride up to the village hilltop monastery where we will spend a night in.

Rise up for a real local breakfast then hop on a market with Pa Laung hill tribe. From Pindaya, we embark on a small road to reach Ywar Ngan, a beautiful road which show the changes colors through the scenery you will pass through.
After a short rest in town for lunch, head to Mandalay via highway.

We keep our last day to behold the most striking attractions of Mandalay city. 
The sightseeing includes Mahamuni pagoda, home to the most reverted Buddha images in the country. From here, your tour brings you to a traditional workshop where kalaga tapestries are made. Mandalay is also the city where gold leaf, wood carving works flourish ... you will have chance to observe the whole process of both two works this morning.
The sightseeing in the afternoon focuses on Mandalay's must-sees covering Kuthodaw pagoda which houses 729 stone slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures, Shwenandaw monastery and  Mandalay Hill, a perfect spot to enjoy the region`s panorama.

Our tour guide will see you off for your departure flight at Mandalay airport.
