Thahara Inle Heritage Boutique Hotel

Thahara Inle Heritage is far away from all the other hotels. It is literally on the lake; nestled at the entrance of Inn Paw Khone, a little village close to the center of Inle Lake that is famous for its silk weaving.
It is best to fly to Heho. There are frequent flights from Yangon and Mandalay and even from Bagan. From Heho we can arrange a car to take you the 45 minutes to Nyaungshwe. After that it’s a one-hour trip by boat across the lake to Inle Heritage.

Hotel room

Designed by a French architect, and built using teak, hardwood and bamboo, each bungalow gives guests their own special place on the lake. The details, which include lightshades made of traditional Shan paper and curtains woven locally and incorporating a special Pa-o shawl pattern, celebrate local materials and artisans. Each bungalow has a private deck that is the perfect place to watch the spectacular sunsets. Built to be as environmentally sustainable as possible, each bungalow uses solar hot water and power.
