Mingalabar! Welcome to Myanmar, the land of golden pagodas !
Our team will welcome you to Yangon airport for your hotel transfer. The rest of the day is for your leisure until our guide picks you up for the first sightseeing to Shwedagon. 
This shimmering pagoda amazes you not only for its giant spires but also for the rich history reflected through various chambers, architecture. 
Enjoy your first dinner with a cultural show.

For the first leg in Yangon, commence your day with a guided walk through the downtown, taking in colonial buildings, lively markets in Indian town as well Chinese town. 
In the afternoon, explore Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, home to a huge reclining Buddha whose crown is encrusted with diamonds and precious gems followed by a river cruise sunset where you can observe local commuter passing Yangon river.

After breakfast, depart from Yangon for Bago ( 1,5 hour drive). On the way, stop to see and a handicraft village producing woven bamboo wares. Another spot you should see is Kyaik Pun Pagoda, famous for its four giant Buddha figures.
Upon arrival in Bago, tour the notable Shwemawdaw Pagoda, which is over a thousand years old, the massive 55-meter-long reclining "Shwe Tha Lyaung" Buddha statue, a family-owned Burmese cigar (cheroot) factory and local pottery workshops.
In the afternoon, drive to  Kin Pun (3,5 hour drive ) then switch to an open truck to ascend Kyaiktiyo, or known as the “Golden Rock” . This huge, visually stunning boulder is delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff, and completely covered with tens of thousands of postage - stamp size sheets of real gold leaf, each ritually hand-applied by religious pilgrims.

Rise up early for the beautiful sunrise over Golden Rock then return to the base camp for your travel northward. 
When we meet the junction Phayargyi, join the express road to Nay Pyi Taw. 
Upon arrival, settle your stay and free at leisure.

To start the day, our guide will lead you to  Parliement house (Pyi Thu Hlut Taw), the building for the National Pyi Htaung Su Hlut taw which is composed of 31 buildings, blending modern and ancient Myanmar architectural style.
Your tour of Nay Pyi Taw also takes you to Uppatasanti Pagoda on the top of the mountain to enjoy overlooking view to the town and nearby hills.
We then drive toward Shan State, passing picturesque scenery with mountains and river valleys. 
The weather will change slightly today as you enter the european-like zone of Kalaw, known as one of the best hill station under British Era.

Today, we discover a beautiful part of Kalaw with elephant experience. 
After the morning walk to scan all the best of Kalaw including church, pagoda, take a scenic ride to Green Hill valley. Here, you will follow the local guide to trek with mahut and bath them. Participate in planting campaign to reforest the area. 
Late afternoon, drive to Nyang Shwe town. Settle your stay in Inle Lake.

Spend full day exploring the best that Inle has to offer: Phang Daw Oo pagoda, floating garden villages, the Inpawkhone weaving village, famous cigar making workshops, traditional black smith, styled boat making houses.
You will have chance to meet long neck hill tribe, friendly kids from different villages in Inle. Conclude your sightseeing day by watching the unique fishing technique from an Inthar fisherman.

After breakfast, navigate the winding canals along Inle lake to reach the unique rotating market of Indein. There are photogenic chances as you encounter different hill tribes in their colorful customs. The market also exposes a wide range of fresh lake-catches, farm produces and delicious local foods. 
After that, continue your boat ride to the village of Indein, home to the friendly Pa-Oh ethnic. Our guide will help you to understand more about then fascinating culture through a visit. You will then ascend the Indein hill to soak up the panoramic lake view as well admire the stunning iconic Buddha images hidden in the Indein temple ruins. 
Return to your hotel for personal leisure.

The road trip uphill this morning allows you to capture the stunning views over Taunggyi and Inle Lake as you stop at at She Phone Pyay pagoda
When you arrive at Kakku, explore its unusual architect. This is a very sacred site for Pa-Oh Hill tribe who believed it was built some 2,000 years ago. 
After visiting the pagoda, we continue by a village visit then learn how they produce wine at  Red Mountain vineyard on the way back to Nyaung Shwe. 
The rest of the day is for your leisure.

Early morning, we will witness the alm collection from Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery, the oldest monstery in the area then have a quick look at the busy market of Nyang Shwe.
Set off your road trip around 9.00am crossing the verdant part of Shan state before reaching the sacred land of Popa mountain, also a magnificent volcanic national park. 
Settle your stay at Mt Popa Resort.

Spend the morning to visit  Mount Popa,a 1,518m high extinct volcano to enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding area.
Mount Popa is dedicated to animist spirits known as ‘nats’ and you will have time to climb the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the peak. At the foot of mountain, you could observe Nat Shrine contains a display of mannequin like figures representing the 37 Nat and is a major pilgrimage destination.
On the way to Bagan, drop by a local village where farmers makes sugar from palm. 
Sunset cruise by Irrawaddy River will be arranged in Bagan.

As the must-see of any Myanmar Tour, Bagan with its 2,500 pagodas and temples has so many things to make your day occupied. 
For the first day in Bagan, we startfrom Shwewigon, the area's most important reliquary shrine - look out for images of the 37 'nats' (spirits) housed in a small hall. Next, you will explore " Cave temple" - the Kyansittha then Gubyaukgyi in Wetkyi Inn village. 
After that, journey to Htilominlo, the last Bamar-style monument exposing fascinating mural art. Another outstanding pagoda is Ananda, famous for its Mon architect housing four standing Buddhas. 
Afternoon time is spent to get face to face with the big temple dated back to 1170 AD, the Dhammayangyi then Mingalazedi, the last of the large pagodas built in the 13th Century.

Balloon Ride
This is a perfect option for those who want to photograph the highlights of Bagan from the sky. The whole experience commences from 5.30 and finishes around 9.00am with hotel pick up then fly over the temple's spires. From the balloon's basket, you will soak up the unparalled view of Bagan, Irrawaddy River and the nearby mountain. 

Village visit 
There are 19 villages in Bagan and most of them are out of tourist map. This means any visit will reveal more about local plantation, village life without crowd.

Depart toward Mandalay for about 4 hours drive. The road is very scenic as your car wind along the river of Irrawaddy, passing peacefull villages, palm and rice plantation. 
For another 2 hours, you will have opportinuties to witness the changes as you enter the zone of pine forest, flower plantation. 
Upon arrival, settle your hotel then enjoy an orientation tour of Pyin Oo Lwin on a horse-drive cart. 
Once the most favorite hill station for British army officer, Pyin Oo Lwin still remains its charm through botanic garden, colonial villas and churches which will be included in your sightseeing this afternoon.

Leave Pyin Oo Lwin then board a local train to Naung Pein Village, passing over the staggering Goteik Viaduct.
Goteik viaduc used to be the highest viaduct in Asia. Hence the ride offers awe-inspiring experience when you travel through a picturesque valley. Disembark at Naung Pein, continue by road to the charming market town of Hsipaw.
Another interesting attraction today is Shan Palace, a faded colonial buiding that hides some secret of the last Royal Shan kingdom. 
Enjoy sunset at  Nine Buddha Hill, 2 kilometres from town centre, to watch the sunset over Hsipaw and the Dohtawaddy.

After breakfast, take a long tail boat ride along the Dothawaddy River to Shan villages for soft trek. The boat will take you from one village to another. The Hsipaw trek passes over rolling hills. There are chances to meet friendly hill tribes such as Palaung and Shan.
The landscapes on the way vary from rice paddies to green mountains dotted with several hamltes. 
You will not misss the famous Shan noodle soup and a cup of green tea at a Shan traditional house. Return to Hsipaw for your leisure.

This full day road trip is compensated by the excitement of encouter diverse sceneries.
Arriving in Mandalay, free to relax at your resort.

Your explorations of Mandalay starts after the breakfast with a visit to  Mahamuni pagoda, home to the most reverted Buddha images in the country. From here, your tour brings you to a traditional workshop where kalaga tapestries are made. Mandalay is also the city where gold leaf, wood carving works flourish ... you will have chance to observe the whole process of both two works this morning.
The sightseeing in the afternoon focuses on Mandalay's must-sees covering Kuthodaw pagoda which houses 729 stone slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures, Shwenandaw monastery and  Mandalay Hill, a perfect spot to enjoy the region`s panorama.

The destination of this morning is Mingun, one of four ancient capitals remaining from Burma Kingdom. To reach Mingun, you will take a boat trip across the legendary Irrawaddy River. You will quickly be impressed by the story of the incomplete Mingun pagoda and the Hsinbyume Pagoda pagoda. 
This after noon we will travel to Ava to discover the Maha Ganayon Kyaung lake and the nearby monastery.
Prepare your camera for the sunset over U Bein bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar.

The day is left free for your own discovery of Mandalay until our driver picks you up for your departure flight.
If your departure flight is from Yangon, we will arrange a morning flight from Mandalay to Yangon to connect with your onward flight.
