Hotel room

The resort features 24 private bungalows and two twin bungalows, purposely built all by hand in wood to provide unique accommodation in harmony with its surrounding, the beach, the many palm trees and its nearby villages. The bungalows caterer up to 70 square meter living room and 40 square meter private terrace overlooking the seaside. All rooms are equipped with:

Our Restaurant features a large terrace that overlooks the ocean where we serve fine Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, accompanied by a generous selection of fine wines.
Beside our extensive menu we offer you fresh local fish and shellfish from the catch of the day, as well as home-grown fruits and vegetables from our own Garden.
The Ungbin Bar invites you to try exotic Cocktails as well as our classic Drinks.
You can also enjoy drinks and snacks at the pool Bar during the day.

One of our guests most favoured meeting places at the Amara Ocean Resort is the large Swimming Pool. Featuring a large sun terrace with deck-chairs and an open Bar for drinks and snacks, you are sure to enjoy this Tropic Paradise.

Our library offers an extensive collection of books, magazines, CD’s and Games. Old classics,  new bestsellers as well as works of fiction are all there. We also have books with colourful  illustrations on the history, people, culture and art of Myanmar. In our TV Lounge you will find a Satellite TV with reception of all major and international broadcast stations.

You´ll find selected crafts, jewellery, antiques and textile goods in our boutique.
Allow our tailor to create a new beach outfit for you within only 24 hours. Also according to your wishes she will tailor shirts, blouses or other articles of clothing for you.
Should you have forgotten anything at home, you will find everything available here in our shop, from toothbrush to sun lotion.
In our rental store you can borrow snorkel-equipment, fishing-rods, bikes and other sport articles.
