Ngapali Bay Villas & Spa

Ngapali Bay Villas & Spa resort is located 11km (6 miles) from Mazin Airport, on a beautiful natural beach in Myapyin Village, Rakhine State. Ngapali is warm throughout the year, with a tropical climate and three seasons; summer, rainy and winter. The resort was designed by British architect David Wordsworth and decorated by our Interior Designer U Kyaw Sein.
Teak wood, pristine white walls, craft and tradition, high-ceiling, thatch roof, white marble, bronze basins, sandstone from Yeizagyo, Pakkoku in central Myanmar are put together, along with paintings from one of Myanmar’s most famous artists, U Khin Maung Yin, and antiques artifacts, to create a unique and enchanting environment in which to relax and be pampered till your heart’s content. Ample activities like snorkling, bicycling to nearby villages, visiting art galleries, browsing through Thandwe market, boat trip to Pearl Island, or just basking in the sun are there for your enjoyment and leisure.
Our Executive Chef and his team will tempt you with traditional Myanmar fare in a modern setting, and an A la Carte Menu featuring East meet West Cuisine.

Hotel room

All villas are designed with varying directions and distance from the beach but each with a view of the ocean through the floor to ceiling windows. A distinctive design of our villas draw on an ideal infusion of elegance and style, reflected in the use of fine cotton, white marble, and teak wood furnishings of massive planks in addition to the clean, white mosquito nets of varying lengths hanging from the solid pyinkadoe wood hangers. The thick cotton curtain fabric takes 3 weeks of non-stop attention for a hand-loom weaver to produce 10 yards a day of dye-free genuine natural color.
