Why you should visit

Victoria is the highest mountain in Nat Ta Maung National Park which stretches along Chin state. It is the third highest mountain in Myanmar situating on the elevation of 3,053m boasting abundance of verdant jungle, picturesque valleys.
Another attraction that draw visitors to Mountain Victoria is the chance to meet the friendly Chin tribe who has long lost tradition of tatooing the face. This unique tradition is no longer exists for young generation. 
The mountain ethnic will surprise any advid travelers by their distinctive tradition : flow the flute by nose, hunting with original tools, festivals, etc..

Climb Mountain Victoria

To reach the summit of Mountain Victoria, it takes about 5 hours for return trek from Kanpelet town. The walk does not require any special technique though it has descent and ascents. 
For an easy option, you can take a jeep following a unpaved road then enjoy a walk for 1 hour. 
Mount Victoria is best climbed between November and February for the cool, clear air at that time of year.

Travel Itineraries and  Practical Info

- To get to Mt. Victoria, you should start from Bagan town. Travel services for Chin State should be arranged in advance to make sure you have the best tour guides. So far, there is not frustructure for indepedent travelers.
- The two towns that you can access Mt Victoria are Mindat and Kanpelet. 
- The mountain not accessible from May to Sept since the road condition is not good.
