Practical Information

Mergui Archipelago is probably the last tropical paradises in Asia. The destination is really underated and welcomes a small number of visitors annually. 
The best way to soak up the charm of Mergui is to register for a multi-day ocean safari which commences from Kawthaung and finish at the same jetty.

How to get to Mergui Archipelago 

From Yangon :
The most practical way is to take a flight from Yangon ( former capital of Myanmar ) to Kawthaung city
You can also take a road trip across the southern destinations like Hpa An, Dawei Peninsula

From Bangkok 
There is a direct flight or train from Bangkok to Phuket then connect with a transfer to Rannong.
There is also a flight to Rannong town with Nok Air.

Local tour operators in both cities of Rannong and Kawthaung provides day tours to the following islands :
Cock Comb Island, Nyuang Oo Pee island, Cockbern Island, Flower Island, Twin Beach island, Sali island and Flowers Islands.
