Irrawaddy River Cruise

Cruising on the mighty Irrawaddy River is an unforgettable family event. Sailing along this river gives a chance to get a glimpse of the local life, rustic villages, lush green surroundings, pagodas and temples at the river bank.
Sunset views from the boat deck is simply stunning and a memorable sight, which the kids will enjoy. The tranquillity along Myanmar’s most fabled river is truly enjoyable.

lacquer

See Lacquer Ware Workshop

Burmese traditional lacquerware is known globally and a visit to one such workshops in Bagan will help understand the process and the intricate detailing involved. A family visit to these workshops make the kids witness the entire process in action.
They can even try their hands in creating these beautiful handicrafts with little guidance. It is amazing to watch the process of creating lacquerware – right from splitting the bamboo, to applying the lacquer, drying process, etching the designs and inlaying shell. The kids would definitely try making bamboo bracelets themselves as a piece of little souvenirs.
