Thanlyin
About an hour drive from Yangon city center, Thanlyin has both British like mansons and Portugese influence church. It used to be one of the busiest ports in Southern Burma. At the current day, Thanlyin is an interesting travel attraction to place a half day out, seeing the exceptional Kyauktan pagoda, located amidst the river. Thanlyin is also very famous for its fishing village and the traditional work of making pottery.
