Switch the beach to Chaung Thar Beach

Chaung Thar beach is less known than Ngwe Saung but it does not mean it is not interesting. This underrated site has also spectacular sand and secluded places to have a private beach of your own. It is really a beach site for locals so you`ll be treated well here too. 
It takes about 2 hours for a road trip from Ngwe Saung to Chaung Thar beach.

How to get to Ngwe Saung?

From Yangon, the best way to access Ngwe Saung is to take a private car. This option allows you to immerse in the authentic landscapes in southern Myanmar. The total travel time is about 5 hours. 
Buses are available from Yangon which departs early in the morning, late afternoon, and overnight for sleeping bus. Please note that the bus station is located outside the city. You need to prepare your luggage and transfer the service to arrive on time.
