Top 10 islands in Mergui Archipelago

Mergui Archipelago is located in southernmost part of Myanmar and it covers over 800 islands. The islands and surrounding seas are alive with an amazing diversity of flora & fauna and very beautiful underwater scenes and marine life, due to its virtual isolation. The archipelago offers great opportunities for exploration and diving amongst spectacular marine life and untouched coral reefs, with yachts and cruise boats designed for that purpose.

2. Lampi Island

It is the largest island in the southern half of the archipelago and it's shaped like a giant horse shoe. Established in 1995 as Myanmar’s first marine national park, Lampi (also known as Kyun Tan Shey or Sullivan Island), is one of the most popular islands for visitors to the archipelago. It is rich as it is in biodiversity, mangroves and coral reefs.
