The upper floors present a glorious view of the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, which lights up at night. These rooms are the closest to the Pagoda in all of Yangon. With a sizable living space of 500 sq feet, the suite boasts modular contemporary rattan furnishings and contemporary teak fittings. Bathrooms are fully travertino with bathrubs for a warm relaxing night in.

Little Bao has no trappings of traditional Chinese restaurants to be seen here: no ornate rosewood screens, no swathes of red paint and definitely no embroidered dragons. Instead, the atmosphere is akin to an upmarket deli or cafe, complete with open kitchen and industrial chic fittings, all designed to appeal to the modern diner. The menu itself features fusion Hong Kong style dim sim in both classic and contemporary interpretations. Indulge in Dim Sum favourites like the Har Gow prawn dumplings and Xiao Long Bao pork soup dumplings. Then try our oriental take on western pork sliders, with the Braised Pork Belly Bao garnished with shallots and spring onions. To finish, you have a choice of playful desert dumplings made with dim sum pastry and confectionary fillings.
